Well, I feel like I have been to Candy Island and back, and my teeth are a painin'! My mom had her youth group come over tonight and they learned how to make about 7 different kinds of candy, and of course left plenty laying about.  With most of my 7 brothers moved out of the house by now, that means the task of getting rid of the sweets has landed on me.  So.... candy burglars are definately welcome tonight!  And, does anyone have K'nuckles' phone number? OMS and INK

Most of my work posted so far is a little old (pre-Elementary Education degree), but I'll add more as it comes about. So, this week for my figure painting head study I chose to paint a pic of one of favorite old timey artists, the Mexican painter Frida Kahlo. Feeling inspired, I had some dinner at a local Mexican restaurant, and as I was leaving I saw a young woman

Well I just couldn't help myself...too many great ones to choose from! I love how you turn such ordinary things into such beauty with your brush, brains, and I wish there was a b-word for soul... Anyway, I look forward to seeing a little bit of how you paint next week! Have a great spring break yourself, and I will be ready with both my colored pencil pieces completed and posted Tuesday!!!!
